Plot

The boy dreams of a fairy tale about how he and his family went on a wonderful hunt and returned with a catch.

Despite the fact that the cartoon is apparently set in the early 20th century, it contains many references to works of both world and Soviet culture, as well as absurd humor. For example, the arrow launched by the boy ends up with the Frog Princess, and Uncle Madi watches the program “Good Night, Little Ones!” on TV while dinner is being prepared.
